In 1973 a young newlywed Brazilian woman named Dora Oppenheim travels to Greece  to meet her new Greek family whose selling their one hundred year old family home. There she discovers a seamstress box with a hidden compartment containing letters that will start her quest to unravel secrets that will have her travel through Europe, Great Britain and Latin America.
